Position: Publishing Internships

Description: Alpha Book Publisher is offering exciting internship opportunities for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the publishing industry. As a publishing intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various aspects of the publishing process, from manuscript acquisition to book marketing. Throughout the internship, you will also have the unique opportunity to learn how to publish your own book, guided by experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
Assist in manuscript evaluation and selection process
Collaborate with editors in manuscript editing and proofreading
Support marketing team in developing promotional materials and strategies
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Assist in social media management and engagement activities
Provide administrative support to the publishing team
Learn the book publishing process, including:
Stage 1: Editing
Stage 2: Cover design
Stage 3: Formatting
Stage 4: Test copy
Stage 5: Book publishing on Amazon, Google, and Barnes and Noble
Requirements:
Strong passion for literature and the publishing industry
Excellent communication and writing skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Prior experience in publishing or related fields is a plus, but not required
